Please read carefully before submitting an inquiry. By contacting District Award Travel, requesting a deal, or paying a consulting fee, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not use this service.

Nature of Service

District Award Travel ("the Service," "we," "us") is an independent award travel consulting service operated by a private individual. The Service provides research, identification, and advisory guidance on airline award availability, points valuations, and redemption strategies.

District Award Travel is not a travel agency, airline, credit card company, bank, or points program. We do not book flights on your behalf, we do not hold seats, and we do not transfer points. We provide information and a step-by-step booking manual once a qualifying deal is identified and the success fee is received.

The Service operates as a personal consulting operation. Response times are best-effort and limited to the availability of the individual consultant.

Award Availability & Seat Disclaimer
Award availability is subject to change at any time without notice. Airline award seats are dynamic inventory controlled solely by the issuing airline. District Award Travel identifies available award space at a specific point in time, but cannot guarantee that any seat will remain available by the time a client initiates a transfer or booking.
District Award Travel is not responsible for points transferred to a transfer partner if the airline releases or removes the award seat before the client completes the booking. Points transfers between loyalty programs are immediate and irreversible. Once points are transferred, they cannot be returned. Clients transfer points entirely at their own risk and discretion.

By proceeding with a transfer, the client acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the outcome, including the loss of points if the seat is no longer available. We strongly recommend that clients confirm real-time award space immediately before initiating any points transfer.

Success Fee & Payment Policy

Our fee is a 10% success fee calculated on the net savings between the cash price of the flight and the equivalent cash value of the points redemption. This fee is only charged when a qualifying deal is found that saves the client $200 or more.

  • No deal, no fee. If no qualifying deal meeting the $200 minimum savings threshold is found, no fee is charged.
  • The success fee is due upon delivery of the booking manual. Payment is confirmation that the client accepts the deal presented.
  • The fee is non-refundable once the booking manual has been delivered, regardless of whether the client completes the booking.
  • The fee is based on savings estimated at the time of deal identification. Savings figures are estimates and may vary based on fluctuating cash prices.
  • District Award Travel reserves the right to decline any inquiry at its sole discretion.

No Guarantees or Warranties

District Award Travel provides consulting information on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • The continued availability of any award seat after identification
  • The accuracy of any cash price comparison used to calculate savings
  • The successful completion of a points transfer or award booking
  • The accuracy of airline partner availability as displayed on third-party tools
  • Any outcome resulting from the client following the booking manual

All information provided is for educational and advisory purposes only. The client is solely responsible for verifying current award space and executing all transfers and bookings.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, District Award Travel shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to: loss of points, failed transfers, missed flights, declined award bookings, changes in award pricing, devaluation of loyalty programs, or any other outcome connected to acting on information provided by this service.

In no event shall the total liability of District Award Travel to any client exceed the amount of the success fee actually paid by that client for the specific deal in question.

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless District Award Travel from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from the client's own actions, including transferring points, booking flights, or otherwise acting on information provided.

Client Responsibilities

By using this service, the client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about their points balances, travel dates, and preferences
  • Verify real-time award availability before initiating any points transfer
  • Act promptly, as award space may disappear at any time
  • Independently confirm all booking requirements, including passport validity, visa requirements, and airline-specific booking rules
  • Accept full responsibility for all financial transactions related to points transfers and flight bookings
  • Not share, resell, or distribute any booking manual or proprietary deal research provided by District Award Travel

Privacy & Data

Information submitted through inquiry forms (name, email, travel details, points balances) is used solely for the purpose of researching and delivering award travel deals. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party.

Points balance information is used only for the purpose of assessing redemption feasibility. District Award Travel does not have access to, and will never request access to, any loyalty program accounts, passwords, or personal financial accounts.

By submitting an inquiry, you consent to receiving a reply email from District Award Travel related to your request.

Independent Consulting Relationship

District Award Travel operates as an independent consulting service. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture relationship between the client and District Award Travel.

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to any airline, hotel, credit card issuer, bank, or loyalty program referenced in its research or communications.

Any airline names, program names, or brand references used are for descriptive and informational purposes only.

Modifications to Terms

District Award Travel reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

It is the client's responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceeding is initiated.

Given the nature of this service as a small personal consulting operation, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution of any dispute before pursuing any formal legal remedy.
